I listened to the Tamworth radio, for the first 40 minutes they kept saying it is a matter of time before Tamworth would take the lead and then in the 41st minute the way the game is going it would be a sucker punch if Banbury take the lead. 42nd minute step up Chris Wreh, then disbelief from the commentators when the second went in.
Second half they changed their tune saying Banbury are clinical, Tamworth are good but need a little more and understand why Banbury are where they are.
Great win

Pretty even 1st half Tamworth slightly shading it... then bang.
Totally dominated 2nd half, very impressive. This team is amazing at times.
Massive games before Xmas. Coalville twice and Peterborough.
Hope the team Stays fit and together.
Says something when Morgan is quiet and we win 4 0

I will be honest, going into the game I thought this would be a tougher challenge, in the end Tamworth offered very little other than niggling fouls. Alex Babos was outstanding and everyone else played their part, young Ben in goal acquitted himself well with a couple of good saves. This is a team that has belief, something we haven’t seen for many years, fingers crossed we can keep up the momentum.

Just watched the You Tube post match Tamworth interview and apparently despite us winning 4-0 they were the better team, granted they did pin us back for some long periods but if you don’t score it doesn’t necessarily make you the better team. You could tell by his body language that he was trying to convince himself that they weren’t deserving of the eventual scoreline.

Missing from the video is the sound of the grinding of teeth...
A rare victory for Banbury at Tamworth (notwithstanding the 28-year gap in meetings), only the second in 23 league visits since 1952-53.
