A top ten team at last. Leiston have made a decent start but what's to be made of a side that's won at Peterborough yet lost at Nuneaton? It's their first midweek away game of the season so let's hope a 150-mile journey upsets them.
Wins: 1, 5, 12, 16, 17, 19 Defeats: 9, 20
Previous results: 2018-19 W 1-0 403 D 0-0 208 2019-20 - --- --- W 5-1 232

Unbelievable end. I am now starting to think that this is a very good team. Hope Jack is not too bad.

Superb result tonight, team showed great character after the injury to jack and then going behind.
Nice to be back at the Spencer seeing many old friends and supporting my club and team.
Onwards and upwards. We are United.

Hope jack is ok, To the boo boys having ago at the ref when Jack was down, need to realise that the Leiston number 7 was no where near jack, Jack hurt himself on landing and the no7 had a easy tap in.

Leiston would have done themselves much better if they hadn’t constantly niggled away and moaned most of the time at what was a poor referee. Jacks injury was just an awkward fall after making a save which resulted in their equaliser. Their second was a looped fluke giving young Ben no chance. It was end to end and it wasn’t to long before KL got the equaliser. Chris Wreh will probably be relieved of his penalty duties for a while having had another one saved. Leiston thought they had won it in the 89 th minute only to have it ruled out and we promptly went up the other end to get another KL goal for the winner.Needless to say the keeper who had been giving it the big one after saving the penalty disappeared without a trace at the final whistle. We have a team which will not give up and play to the final whistle and have a real belief.

Southern football league put as as having a draw in the table and 3-2 winners in the result! Same on football web pages how long before they up date it!

Quite correct but that was just about the only incident he didn’t need to do anything about, for the rest of the game he was totally clueless.

Was always going to be a tough ask after euphoria of Saturday, We have a team that keeps going but we got lucky tonight, I was clubhouse end for finish and struggled to see what was wrong with Leiston headed goal. Chris Wreh is not a penalty taker, Gio pls. Horrid night with our goalkeeper seriously injured but top teams conjure wins when it looks unlikely. Cherry on the top Brackley got turned over Best wishes Jack ... come back strong

We never gave up, constantly pushing for the winner. Great effort, and not easy after the Jack incident. As much as I rate Chris Wreh, he is not a penalty taker.

Banbury have made the best start (after 10 games) to a league season since 1973-74, when they went 14 unbeaten (10 wins) before losing 0-6 at Stourbridge in December (after which it began to fall apart – very unlikely under current management!). Assuming Banbury beat Corby in the Trophy next week and there are no other changes to schedules, their 15th league game will be away to Coalville, who managed to put six past Peterborough last night and Banbury last season.
All time unbeaten records (in one season): 22 – 99-00 (W20), Hellenic 18 – 02-03 (W15), SLE; 54-55 (W12), B&DL 17 – 65-66 (W12), WML 14 – 73-74 (SL1N)
