Hemel Hempstead??......it is very near to where he lives in St Albans so makes sense if true.
I assume the Birmingham based games and further North would really impact on his day (travel time) on the away games.
Shame as he is a nice guy and obviously a loss to the team footballing wise.
I do wish him luck though.

Good luck Jack. No one can blame him for wanting to try his luck at a higher level.

Big shame, but perfectly understandable. Wish him well. Will be the first big test this season for Whingy. Replacement needed instantly.

Just when everything was going so well and it honestly feels like he could've been playing at a higher level with us next season !!
Has to be remembered though that at semi-Pro level there are so many factors involved re family, job, travelling, money etc.
Very best of luck to Jack

Hard to view as a step up to a higher level. Hemel third from bottom one win 8 goals for and 21 against. Sorry to see him go.

Understandable for Hemel (is that confirmed ?) though, to bring in some quality to shore up their defence with a record like that. Whilst it's never too early to start winning, we're only a quarter or so into the season so makes sense now.
