Where does this put Matthew Haycock I was told some time ago that he had stood down at the end of last season for "personal reasons". Though oddly he was there tonight - perhaps just helping out on an occasional or short term basis? |

Well done Banbury United for moving so quickly - with the harsh financial realities seemingly being spelt out at the AGM the other evening, this appointment was totally the correct decision.
It's a crunch time of the season so waiting for c.v.'s to come in, building a job spec and all the other stuff that comes with a Football Team Manager recrutiment process, this was very good work by the Club.

good luck to them both, though its all down to budget surely,they may have the contacts but will they get them to pay for peanuts.i hope our x1 doesn't resemble last nights.

Good luck to Ady and Paul we'll be right behind them. I loved Ady's spirit to win when he was a player and I'm sure he'll get the team playing at 100%. Well done to Paul Jones and the board for getting this sorted out so quickly.

According to the Fans Forum, Stoney has gone to cirencester, and played for them last week againts Cheltenham

Thanks for your support from both Lamby and myself.
we have both been non stop since i took over and we are looking forward to tomorrow night and our return to the spencer stadium.
We have a number of trialist to look at tomorrow night plus the players from last season.
