Sounds like they were up front about their intentions unlike Cinderford who p****d off a lot of people, still they got what they wanted in the end.

Comment from an observer (not a WCFC fan): "Another appalling tale of prolonged mismanagement of a proud old club. Regardless of the excuses trotted out in this press release, a well-supported club with a good pedigree and a terrific ground has been turned into a cash-strapped nomad at step 5. Terribly sad."

Does that mean Cambridge City will be reprieved as they finished 21st?

Not if the FA apply their own rules correctly. Harrow Borough in the Isthmian Premier Division should get the reprieve with a club then being transferred to the SL, possibly Harrow or Staines.

But never underestimate the ability of an FA committee to surprise!

But never underestimate the ability of an FA committee to surprise! And even as I wrote that, the Bishop's Stortford website reported that following their relegation from Step2 they have been placed in the Southern League.
This makes no sense at all. They are much better located for the Isthmian.
They have seven days to appeal.
