Thought yesterday would be a tough game against a very good Hitchin side, and although we let a lead slip time will tell if it was 2 pts lost or 1 pt gained?,but we are still in the mix and everything still to play for,we have 2 games left and they are both must win to have a chance,Merthyr with the games they have left should be home and dry,Hitchin are 4pts ahead but their last 2 games are both potential banana skins,Home derby against Biggleswade then away to Basingstoke, but the team i think has the potential to slip is Slough,a home defeat to Cirencester has dented morale and are away to Chesham then home to redditch,a slip in either game could let us in,so Leamington tomorrow is a huge game and yes it will be tough, but if Fordy picks the right team and are at it on the day then we can get a result and take it down to the wire on the last day v Kettering. Keep the faith and get to Leamington tomorrow and cheer on the boys, and no matter what happens now this team has done us proud and has put pride back in the name of Banbury United F.C..

Agreed Keith. I think if at the start of the season you'd said we'd still be in with a shout of the playoffs with two games left, many of us in our heart of hearts would have been sceptical. Mike and the boys have done us proud. Credit too, to Ronnie, Mark, and all the others on the board, plus mention too for Puritans Radio for the widely acclaimed commentaries.

What will be will be, however I feel a couple of negative substitutions cost us yesterday, shame. I know 6th is a great achievement in our first season back but I personally will be gutted if we miss out on the playoffs.

Don't get me wrong Kjt / Fonzerelli, I feel two points lost yesterday, but we start again tomorrow. I can't be their but will hopefully be able to tune in, and be back for Saturday against Kettering.

If your number 9 has three chances,he's got to put one away. Six points required now, slough and hitchin our only hope.

It has been another great season no matter what happens this week. The whole town should be proud of what the club has achieved over the last two seasons.
Just watched Perth beat Melbourne City 5-4 with Tim Cahill scoring for City. Roy Hodgson former England Manager was there. Perth now in play off finals.
