Pity about the late equaliser but safe now (not that there was much doubt) and 16th place assured – can you see Bedford turning round a 16-goal deficit? Sat 23rd Mon 25th 16 Banbury (-1) 38 40 44-62 -18 H Truro A Brackley 17 Bedford 38 34 40-74 -34 H Salisbury A Cambridge 18 Didcot 38 31 39-66 -27 A Cirencester H Oxford 19 Weymouth (-10) 38 31 50-82 -32 H Chesham A Truro 20 Tiverton 38 28 33-76 -43 H Halesowen A Bashley 21 Halesowen 38 23 24-101 -77 A Tiverton H Hednesford

As it turns out we did'nt need a result because apparently Swindon are resigning at the end of the season.Average game made worse by a Ref who would have been better off wearing a blue shirt, nothing too contentious but he was generally useless.Young lad took his goal well and apart from that nothing much else to say.

I blame Steve T for the late equaliser. Where were you ?!?!?!? We need you to be at the Brackley game, you are our lucky mascot ! ! ! Not a bad game today, thought Declan did well again, Bloss played well for them. Shame about the late goal, but probably a fair result.

I blame Steve T for the late equaliser. Where were you ?!?!?!? We need you to be at the Brackley game, you are our lucky mascot! I hope to make it both of next weekend's games. Truro need just one win for the title although their goal difference is so superior that two points should be enough to win it. Let's hope they bring at least a couple of coachloads.

pitch was better suited to bucket and spades, thought Greens goal was outstanding,if the cobblers stay up we could do with having him back next year, esp now sharrif is bagging for Rushden,so wont be back, his turn for the second goal was top notch. Truro will hopefully bring loads, and seeing as we're in the poorhouse, and could save £800 0N Train fares next year,no one will mind if they gain promotion.(i'll be looking for any 4/6 and that's my Vegas money sorted Looks good if SS Go and reprieve maybe weymouth.

So far, only one coach arranged by Truro but there's time for more. It's a pity it's not their last game; that would encourage a few more to make the trip.
No clues about the Swindon resignation on their website or forum. The old report denying it is still there (13th March): "In response from the committee of SSFC to the rumours on the Zamaretto League Forum. Although funds are tight, as they are with most clubs, SSFC has every intention of playing in the Southern League Premier Division next season and has already had discussions with our main sponsors for season 2011/12 and they have been very positive. The club committee has never suggested or approached the Hellenic League or any other league with thoughts of dropping down the non league pyramid." Not entirely definitive...

3 Points will suffice for them though, may as well join the list of clubs who've been promoted or reached the play offs at chez spencer.
poor if they don't bring 100 on a bank holiday week end
