From 2-0 to 2-2 then 4-2 FT. That defeat makes Hemel and Oxford safe and Banbury now need only a point. I'd say it's a credit that in the 7th seasons in the SLP,there's only ourselves and Chippenham who've been ever presents from the clubs who contested the 04'05 season, some of those have gone onto better things, most of them haven't. I know we are treading water, but it's better to be doing that than look what's below the surface.

Thats interesting that we and Chippenham are the only originals of the Division. Just shows you what a shifting beach, non league football is.

Of the 04-05 clubs other than Banbury and Chippenham, three are at a higher level, eight at a lower level (two of them reformed), five have been out and back (two up, three down), one has merged and one is defunct. That leaves two, Tiverton and Halesowen, ever-presents until now.
As for this season's table, to avoid accusations that Banbury have had another let-off I should like to see them finish above at least four clubs, and if those include Weymouth to exceed their on-the-field points total.
