Strange game today, restricted Didcot in the first half and went in 2 up then decided to let them have the ball for long periods in the second half which resulted in a late reply from their first real effort. A bit frustrating really as I feel we could have completely killed the game instead of being content with what we had, still three points taken so I suppose we should be happy with that.

Great picture from 73/74 in the programme today.Maybe old team photos could become a regular feature. On the subject of the game,Diddy player threw ball at Linesman and escaped with a yellow card??? Although not thrown hard ,thrown in anger.

We wasted some really good chances in the 1st half - the Didcot defence did not like being run at. Andy Williams looked a pale shadow of his former self - not literally though, that gold kit was not very slimming.
Disappointing second half, hoped we would go on to score 4 or 5 and keep a clean sheet. Gave the ball away too much
I agreed with decision to give Mad dog Maddox the MoM - not the most creative of players but did a good job of breaking up play.
Didcot looked a very poor side today and relegation candidates but it is a funny old league - Oxford City beating in-form Submarine.
Agree about how good the 73-74 photo is - Eddie Tait's facial hair - priceless!
