I have been able to glance over he Puritan posts recently but had no chance to post at all due to the NSW Premier Leah=gue kicking off last Saturday, 26th March.
As one of Football NSW 'senior' journo's (never sure if they mean I've been doing it a while or a sniggering reference to my advancing years? ;D) I had the pleasure of covering the first round match between Sutherland Sharks and Blacktown City.
If anyone is interested there are highlights of the game on youtube or via the FNSW website. Wtch out for a horrer tackle by Kain Rastall on Panni Nikas in the second-half....for which he only managed to get a caution!
A full match report can be found on the website so when the leagues finish over in England in a few weeks time, you can always get a footie fix from downunder if you have a mond to?
