Certainly not a great game, but three points that could well be enough to keep us up. Thought Henry Rose had a good game, never gave up trying. Nathan is starting to look like his old self. Bedford were poor, but they looked a very young side, so the future may be bright for them.

Difficult pitch some very odd refereeing decisions but three points - get in!
We looked pretty solid, I know they didn't look great but we cannot forget we lost to Halesowen so any win isn't going to be easy. The early goal helped but we certainly didn't play with fear or looking like a jittery side, nervous about going down
I agree that Nathan had a good game despite being on a first half undeserved yellow - he should have scored at the end of the first half though. Henry had some nice touches and certainly makes things difficult for defenders which we lacked for a lot of the season.
Second half at times we played some decent football with Declan having some surging runs - the tussle with the dancing Hoyte great comedy value.
Good work by the Town End faithful to wind up the keeper, you would think at this level they would learn.
Can't think the England game had much effect on the attendance - 245.
Congratulations to Billy and the team.

Looks a bit safer now,3 points at Hemel should see us safe for another year. Maidenhead,Redditch,Totton, and maybe Sholing,Bitching,Daventry joining us next year could see a different experience . The top is quite tight, wouldn't mind Truro winning the league at ours,or being in pole position for the monday.

Having a few minutes to kill had a look at Salsibury's forum and it seems that the rain was so localised that some of them didn't have any rain at their homes only a mile away.
However also saw this ...
"Brackley are due to be at home to Banbury on Easter Monday. I think that the league could solve a potential problem by re-arranging that one (assuming Banbury are safe from the drop) and then we play Brackley on Easter Monday instead. That way, all the top teams would once again be finishing on the same day. Banbury would then be the ones without a game, which would surely be a more sensible way to end the season"
Seems that they are bleating about it being unfair that on Easter Monday they don't have a game as they were due to play Windsor and other teams might go into their matches knowing what they have to do to win the title.
As a solution, if they are so worried about being caught, why don't they get enough points with their full time squad to make it impossible to be overhauled.
Would happily see them promoted out of our league as it is surely more unfair they were just given a potential two year Conference sabbatical for the financial irregularities used to achieve success. Having said that like with Farnboro there is something quite entertaining seeing big time boys not go up - even if it meant Corby did.

Maidenhead, Redditch, Totton and maybe Sholing, Bitching, Daventry joining us next year could see a different experience. A member of Tony Kempster's forum has taken up the challenge of compiling lists of line-ups for next season. Produced before Tuesday night's games (using ppg), SLP includes the above except Hitchin, who miss out to Arlesey. Also in are St Albans. Cambridge go sideways to ILP. However, Daventry's hopes have since had a bit of a blow with a 6 point deduction.

went to watch Daventry last night,16th straight win.7HD TV in clubhouse, getting 2 3D,AMAZING UPSTAIRS,bankrolled by 24/7 clubhouse and rich benefactor, would be a good addition and think they might make up the 6 point loss.
