It sounds as if Histon are in financial trouble again. As Cambridge City have to move from their ground, don't be surprised if we see a ground share with between Histon & Cambridge City.

Dama plugged the financial hole that was threatening Histon's existence but has decided that he can no longer afford to contribute. The general opinion appears to be that Histon can at least slip down the leagues intact rather than have to 'reform' and be demoted several levels.

Statement today from Histon board:
"The directors of Histon Football Club Ltd are seeking professional advice on the financial position of the club on Monday 19th November and the club will issue a statement with further information after that meeting. In the meantime the club has advised the Football Conference that it is unable to fulfil its fixture at Colwyn Bay on Saturday 17th November."
