There's more going on at Truro than a petition from HMRC about unpaid taxes. The recently established Truro Independent Supporters Association is having a big falling-out with the club – or perhaps it's the other way around. Chairman Kevin Heaney has come in for a lot of criticism, though if it hadn't been for his £1.7 million TCFC might not even have made it to the Western League.
The failure to gain planning approval for any of the club's redevelopment plans hasn't helped the supporters' mood, though why the club should be held to blame for that I don't know.
A bit of a saga and we don't know the half of it...

TCFC have stumped up the £100,000 owed to HMRC, so it's business as usual... Hmmm, not so sure reading the following link "cash strapped club" news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16650562.stmI should imagine a few Southern League clubs are wishing them every success in their fight to stay up ..... ..... only because away travel does cost an awful lot these days !

Sept 3rd – another court hearing for another £15,000.
Players are reportedly pulling out because they haven't been paid.

Beware money men, with an affinity to boredom.

Apparently Mr Heaney has found another company to take over the club and their captain says the players wages have been paid and are guaranteed for two years, has'nt stopped four of them signing for Weymouth though.

has'nt stopped four of them signing for Weymouth though. And Barry Hayles, after two seasons at Truro, has just signed for St Albans City - guess he will be at the Spencer on Saturday

Heaney has resigned due to 'ill health'. Being declared bankrupt probably didn't do his state of mind any good. A temporary chairman is in place. The CEO has resigned. The ground has been sold to an investment company. There is another HMRC court hearing in the next week or two. Otherwise all OK.
