For the first 25 mins we were well in the game but as soon as Aiden was sent off that was effectively it. They had possession for large parts of the game and we couldn’t get out enough to mount much of an attack. Hewitt came on late and did pose a bit of a threat but by then it was too late and as Didier has posted all the other results went totally against us. The red card was for last man.

Unfortunately the game is up. Having seen many games this season, the team is not good enough. New faces made very little difference. Sending off didn't help, but there has been very little enjoyment watching Banbury this year. Do not see anyway that things will improve. Miracle required.

Been mentioned on here already around Wilson’s appointment
McKay not getting a couple more games seemed crazy, players seemed completely different in those back to back wins, we’ve since not touched Fitzhugh and subsequently lost him
The man seems absolutely lost out there, 8 years is a long time out of football

I repeat: KW should have been bought in, as a director of football to help with recruitment and been there as support for McKay who should have been allowed to carry on taking the team.
Zero energy and passion from that dugout tonight. The players react to the dugout.
Sadly one thing Wilson doesn’t have which most managers deserve is time, if this gamble goes wrong we go down, yes new players etc, but we simply don’t have the time to wait for them to click. The next 3 games are make or break, it’s as simple as that now

...all the other results went totally against us... Could have been even worse – King's Lynn were ahead. Darlington's sudden burst is also worrying even if they have played two games more. They weren't put off tonight when Curzon levelled on the hour. Plenty of games left but if Rushall and Lynn keep winning they could push the possible target from 47/48 points to 50/51.

Another poor showing.
We looked really positive for 20 mins then the red card completely stopped us in our tracks. To lose a man is bad enough but to lose your best player also, it's a double hit! When you're lucky enough to have a player like Aiden, you have to expect a bit of flare. Is what it is on this occasion.
The lack of interaction from the dug out was a bit of a strange one,I was 20 yards from dugout second half and nothing came? No instruction, no positivity, no encouragement was bizarre. We saw in those 2 games how loud Mckay was, has he been told to sit down and shut up?
Yes we wanted signings but we are bringing in masses of young loan players we wanted/needed experience???
I agree with a previous post, in those 2 games under Mckay we looked hungry, we look like we've gone back 2 months again.
Saturday is a massive game now...as is every other from now on
Have one final note to add...this season has been a disaster, all lead by bad recruitment after whingy left, sadly the fault lies in the boardroom with some "interesting" choices to lead a team in NLN.

Another dreadful performance - no fight or passion apart from the silly challenge by AEW which unfortunately produced a red and killed the game for Banbury. Thought Peterborough were well drilled - we did not appear to change tactics and our only option was a long ball to the lone striker which was easily mopped up by the defence.
KW isn't working at the moment and I cannot see this changing given how long he was out of the game - the incomings are not adding much and we desperately need a striker who can actually score. The passion and commitment seems to have gone after Craig was in charge - best bet for the season would be for him to be coach/manager with KW moving above - it just isn't working.
Still a long way to go but I cannot see the club climbing out of the relegation zone which will push the club backwards for years to come.

In the relegation zone now. Next three games are HUGE. We need maximum points, or I think we are down.

As I see it a minimum of 15 points needed and sadly as it stands I don’t know where from.

I thought the new guys did ok and showed promise. Until the sending off we were the better team, then a total collapse.
Ken Charles was hardly in the game as usual! Start with Hewitt instead. Missed D’arth
I think we will survive, but I’d like to see another older experienced player added.
Will be a tense few next weeks.

Well - it’s all doom and gloom here isn’t it. We have Darlo away and then 3 critical home games Tues Sat Tues.
How about we get behind the team, make some noise from the start, and see if we can get some of the lapsed fans back into the ground?
Or we could just give up now.
I know what i will be trying to do …

As important as Aiden is to the team I couldn’t understand why we apparently fell apart after he was sent off, it just didn’t make any sense. I hadn’t noticed at the time but comments about interaction from the bench were correct, there wasn’t any noticeable.Given Darlington’s recent upsurge we will have to perform a lot better and harder to get anything at all and the upcoming home games will define the rest of the season.
