And one or two on here should take a deep breath or two! **stops sharpening his pitchfork** Surely a pike for a Puritan...

They deserve all the barracking coming there way. It will be feisty, but without overstepping the mark. Our home form is a major problem, will be anger if we depart to a team who have pulled the wool over the FA eyes.

Also means we will now have to play them midweek away ;-| ;-| ;-| We did anyway, irrespective of this mess.

The FA out come is no surprise. We have been stitched up, but sadly that counts for nothing. It's now all down to the team on Saturday. I hope we are going to go for it, this is not the game for parking the bus. We have got a point to prove, lets attack them and score a few.

One Farnborough supporter has described some of the remarks on here as a 'ridiculous overreaction'. Another has interpreted 'toxic atmosphere' as a threat of violence. That is a bit of an overreaction on his part but some of you should just think how some of your comments come across. Banbury play Slough tomorrow. A plastic bottle 'joke' has already appeared on their forum. Do you really want the club to be regarded that way, especially now that it is truly a supporters club? And do you want to attract real troublemakers to the ground?

After the news today Steve nothing would surprise me anymore!,see Farnborough forum saying we are "overreacting",and it would be a different tune if the boot was on the other foot?,well in all the years i have followed Banbury Utd we have never failed to fulfil a fixture, and until last Tuesday never known a visiting club unable to fulfil a fixture!,yes we have been caught in traffic and been late, but we always got there!,the question mark about the validity of Farnborough's defence of the charge is not the so called 5 player's caught in traffic but the mysterious lone player who was said to be on a train and due at Banbury by 8.30pm which would have given Farnborough the required 7 to take to the field, what happened to him as he never turned up at all??,did he receive the tweet at 8.04pm from Farnborough officials saying match postponed,41 minutes before the cut off point of 8.45 the referee had already given Farnborough to allow missing players to arrive?,was there a player on a train at all??, and to add fuel to the flames the tweet was quickly deleted but not before it was spotted by members of our board, sorry Farnborough fans the F. A. ruling may have gone in your favour but it does not make any difference to the fact that something very underhanded went on last Tuesday night,so as Banbury fans see it Farnborough have not been proven innocent but rather got away with one!!!.

The probability of the game being played with seven in all probability was a non starter anyway, only takes a rash challenge for a red card or an injury and your back where you started.

It will be a high tempo thrilling game with a lot riding on it with the usual banter that comes with such games. Of course there isn’t going to be violence that is just being silly. Maybe a few Jibes at the farnborough players for there no show, and maybe at there manager for being the most trustworthy of Chaps. All in good nature with no harm intended. So let’s all look forward to what will be an exciting game, that’s both us and the farnborough fans.

After the news today Steve nothing would surprise me .... Keith, you were obviously writing this as I posted about 'overreactions' so you wouldn't have seen what I wrote about that. It is not an overreaction to be suspicious of some events on that evening (we broadly agree on this) but it most certainly is to write in the manner that some have done about the forthcoming match.

Steve I think your getting abit carried away with concern.
Facts are it will be heated. Can’t hide away from that, it’s an important cup tie in which given the circumstances will have a lot of emotion attached to it, and as yogi said as long as nobody over steps the mark then it’s all part and parcel of football

Was told on the night Farnborough manager had agreed to take to the field when the 7th player arrived, but conveniently he just disappeared?,perhaps Farnborough should contact lost property in case he lost his name tag and cannot find his way home?,better still wrap him up and drop him off at the Spencer ready for Saturday!
