Such a big game, regardless of what Merthyr do,if we can beat hitchin they have two hard games left, including Basingstoke last game in the town for God knows how long. Fingers crossed for a positive result.

Wholly agree. Concentrate only on what we can control, our own performance. Hope for a large and noisy crowd tomorrow, let's be the extra man for the team.

Slough 0 Cirencester 2 ft Makes a win tomorrow more important then potentially 1 point off Slough Hitching and possibly merthyr! Hitching win secures their play off place.

Leamington's defeat is unwelcome β Hitchin can still beat them to second place on points. Had they won, Hitchin would only be able to draw level and would start tomorrow's game at least 14 goals behind. Leamington still need points, though one will be enough if Banbury beat Hitchin.

Indeed it would have been useful for Leamington to have been home and dry in second.

A home win today for Banbury would make Leamington's second place nailed on, with superior goal difference. Would Leamington then be tempted to rest players, on Monday, for the play offs, with the greater picture in mind?
