Banbury Utd is still in the Division last time I looked yes things have slipped in the last 12 months and need adjusting granted and I'm sure Kim will address.
Some of the comments ref myself are ill judged & incorrect as normal though certain fans believe they always no better and yes they are intillted to there opinions however I would ask you to ask me before assuming you no my life better than myself.
Didier you should no better I congratulate you're team Brentford on promotion this year but you amongst all should no better than to make ill judged comments although I have noted you're comments for future ref.
I will aid BUFC as much as I can if you don't want my aid that's fine Let Kim no.
One comment you should note is in leaving the clubs i have been involved with they have always been left in a better shape disappointingly this hasn't been noted here.
Ps - great work on the pitch this year huge improvements.

Ps - great work on the pitch this year huge improvements. So .... 1. "things have slipped" - 16 league games lost since 1st Feb with a few games seeing Banbury concede 5, 6, 7 and even 8 goals ! Yep, you could say things have slipped but as "a football Man" (per your description of yourself on telly when you took over at Swindon) it's a little bit more than "things have slipped" isn't it ? 2. Do you not agree that a Football Club should make the odd statement to the fans when "things are slipping" and there's unrest and unhappiness on the terraces even if it's a call to arms to rally the fans and the town etc., with a plea for support and sponsorship ? 3. Yep, quite agree, people are entitled to their opinions 4. "ill judged comments" ? Nope, purely voicing an opinion which you agree that people are quite entitled to do ! 5. "I have noted you're comments for future ref" - any particular 'opinion' of mine that has caused you such offence ?

Pleasure meeting you online Chris Smart obviously you're vocabulary is a good as you're surname & live upto you're reputation ... Didier the current board make the choice on how they try & interact with the supporters and Kim is new to this it was only before Xmas this team was up near the play offs & last year the fans were having an Edwin ' flat cap ' day I still remember. All I am saying is the club is not having it's annual relegation battle for the last two years and I take you're points ref defeats and the manner and I am sure the board will not be happy with this and will review over the summer however the constant barracking doesn't aid the club with sponsors and new investments. Didier happy to meet you to go through any points you have as airing them on social media only fan the flames and do not aid the club in any way. I am not here for a popularity voting contest as I may lose .. .. But instead of moaning I will try and aid were I can.

Jed
Can you explain why Kim said he has been to companies in Banbury who are willing to put money into the club but not while your name is linked to it,, pro drive etc..as he has contacts there..
Edwin told Kim he had a friend who wanted to put £50000 into the club, Kim arranged to meet him and he didn't have money yet,, his idea was to get a house bring players over from South Africa and play them and Bufc and when they were sold he would have the money to invest,, is it going to be a farm to sell on players?.
Lots of questions to ask maybe a meeting would be the way forward...

Hi Jed ! Its great that at least someone is talking to the supporters at long last before the club completly implodes. You refer to the "board" is there a "board" as no AGM has been held since August 2012 and I believe no board meetings are held ?

Morning Cindy I was unaware of Kims comments or who he may have spoken to.
I have spoken to Kim more so recently about what he is wanting to do and has not mentioned anything to me ref being a hindrance in anyway but has asked me to aid the club next season were I can which I will be happy to do.
I am unaware of any ideas ref South African players etc but I can't see that happening.
I have already identified on kims behalf half a dozen local lads to join BUFC for next season that are keen to join and will be watching potentially another 3 this week who are also keen to join next season and work within Kims budget restraints next season.
I have also spoken to potential sponsors & aids to the club for next season for Kim to review.
Ref AGM I think you are correct Nigel as it is got to be easier than socialmedia avenues. I'm sure Kim will let all no when the season is over and the work for next season begins.
I won't comment on here anymore but will happily meet up with Kim and others if you feel any benefit but please contact Kim first to arrange.

Yes some good news at last with Jed wearing his heart on his sleave and waiting to be shot down by fans. I am not sure what to make of Jed but he loves fooball. His final PS is way off the mark though! Since Christmas the football and results have been poor, and with the non exhistant budget we could not expect anything different. I think we are lucky to still be in this Division. (http://puritons.freeforums.net)

Jed I think the only way forward is a meeting with supporters,, and people being totally truthful not saying what supporters want to hear and it never happening,, as that's how it has been for the last 2 seasons the whole club is in a dire state. And players from Barnet email the secretary saying they want to play for Bufc, I wouldn't not think they have ever heard of Bufc until a certain person got involved at the club, can you tell me what the attraction is because I can't understand it?...unless there is a motive behind it?

So the season finishes this week, can we please have this meeting between The Board,Manager and Supporters within the next two weeks please ? This surely needs sorting quickly and not left until sometime around the start of next season. Any reason why not ?

One comment you should note is in leaving the clubs i have been involved with they have always been left in a better shape disappointingly this hasn't been noted here. The best thing that you can do for the club is completely walk away and take Dumbleton and Stein with you,we do not want your players or your incompetent manager,B.U.F.C. is a shambles since the takeover (if it legally happened?) and i for one would rather drop a level if it meant the club could be run by people who actually care about it and not for just self interest, this club deserves much better, the only way the club will attract any local investment if is everyone associated with the shambles of the last 18 months leave and allow the club to try and undo the damage that has been done and re build trust with not only local business but with the fans as well, because we have been treated appallingly.

I will aid BUFC as much as I can if you don't want my aid that's fine Let Kim no. As has been said previously - please go and take Kim with you . You are not wanted at BUFC , and looking at reports elsewhere , hereford , swindon etc , you are not wanted there either.

Leave off folks! If Jed can genuinely help us next season, then stop giving him Jipp! Ok things were less than great under Jed but I for one would like his support and that of Kim and the board. Yes it may be their last chance as far as supporters are concerned. But we know AFC Banbury and all that, that it will be very difficult to save our club without them. Changes yes, re players and increased sponsorship is an absolute must. What about that open letter to the businesses of Banbury and surrounding catchment areas inc North Oxfordshire, Northants, Bucks, Warks. But this group must let genuine supporters know what the plans are for next season. And as many of us have stated it is in the club`s own interest to call an Extraordinary General Meeting in the Next Few Weeks to which players are invited. No board member has the right to treat supporters in a way that some have been treated this season. And that includes some of the hot-heads on this forum. But these hot-heads are passionate about this club. Comment now on puritons.freeforums.net

Jed and co are the one's responsible for the mess the club is in,do you really want them to have a chance to finish the club off?,because they surely will, they had their chance and all we got were lies and broken promises, and that is all we will ever get!,sorry if B.U.F.C. is to have any future at all then they have to go!.

I won't comment on here anymore . Jed, you may not be commenting on here anymore but having started this thread I'm sure you'll be logging in to read it though so as a Right to Reply, may I make a few points ; Firstly, I've had another quick review of my posts and there's nothing (in my opinion) that is libellous or even disrespectful - they are either factual or are an opinion so unsure why the "for future reference" comment/threat I post on here simply as a fan of the club - I lived in Banbury for a few years as a child and my first game was the FA Cup 1st round match v Northampton in 73-4. I love the history of the Club, my Banbury Spencer programme collection now tops the 170 odd mark etc., etc., etc. The people around the club such as David Shadbolt, Nigel Porter and others typify for me what is great about non-league football - dedication, an incredible love for the club and a desire for fair play and effort on the pitch. Comments on this Forum will not detract from new sponsors coming in because of unrest at the team getting hammered 6-0 every week - it's the team getting hammered 6-0 every week that will deter sponsors coming in and you well know that. Football clubs should accept moans and groans on forums as constructive criticism in my opinion - if a football club board communicate with the fans then any bad feelings can be nipped in the bud sooner rather than later. Without the fans there would be no club. I've been a Director of a Football League club for 8+ years, had two and a bit years as CEO to help out and I had my fair share of criticism as the Club at that time had no money and certain decision had to be taken which were unpopular but the supporters were consulted/involved/informed throughout and it "turned out nice in the end" thankfully ! Comparing this forum to other club's forums (especially where you're concerned), this particular forum delivers nothing more at you than a tickle with a feather. The deletion of the link to this site from the official site was a very poor negative move by the Club and wrong in my opinion. Very encouraging to hear that things will improve at the Club. In my opinion I think it only fair and proper that a (standard) template business plan be drawn up and shared showing objectives and timelines etc., etc. Having been involved at Swindon though, you will know that more than anyone so I guess it's over to you - you're more than aware why some fans are of the opinion that you dumped their club before when Swindon came along because, well, you did I suppose ? That's my say in response to yours, nothing outrageous and nothing to get shirty or offended about, it’s just a Banbury fans opinion ! Finally, apologies for not returning the congratulations concerning your Club's achievement this season. Luton's return to the Football League as Champions of the Conference was a lengthy wait but they got there in the end !

Jed, You could learn so much from didier, the guy has my respect and should have yours, you cannot blunder from club to club wreaking havoc without being challenged,i have no doubt you love football but can you not see what you have done to this club?,i'm sure if someone went into Luton and did the same you would soon be on their case,so why is our passion for B.U.F.C. any different?.
