It had been rather quiet on here until the ownership business blew up. We've done that to death (for the time being).
Season's all but over on the field, unless anyone thinks 12 points from relegation and 14 from the play-offs with just 8 games left provides some interest.
Here's a few points for discussion: Will Brackley finish their ground works in time? Will Corby and/or Grantham be relegated? Will Ricky Johnson stay at Leamington if (when) they go up? Can the club afford a bag of grass seed for the pitch?

Usually this time of the season we are all talking about how and if we can stay up?,not used to this mid table comfort, think everyone is waiting to see what next season will bring and if we really are going to challenge for promotion?,so much has happened this season and to be honest i feel drained by it all, still got the AGM to come where hopefully Kim will be able to outline his vision for the clubs future and how it will be acheived?,next season will really be the acid test of how ambitious we really are,Edwin,if he stays, will have a full pre season to put together a settled squad and style of play,we have improved dramatically on the field but off field events have too often over shadowed this, so hopefully next season will be the start of better things to come.

Brackley WILL finish the work. My workmates who supports them tells me the new floodlights are up and working, the new turnstiles are in and functional, their new building was handed over this Monday and the terracing safety barriers were due this week and the concreting for the terracing will be done next week once they are in situ. At least it will be proper terracing and not just a slope like the King Sutton End.

You can't resist having a dig can you dear boy,the slope was put in by the contractors and no doubt the club did'nt have a say in it. What would be the point of spending money we have'nt got for it to be eventually dug up.

It's not a dig old chap, I would rather stand on staged terracing than a slope. just a statement, no harm intended. Just my preference that's all

At least the same players have had another week to get used to one another. Its also Arseley next week and our favourite cheepo pub The Gardners which is nearby. Carvery for less than £5. Who knows we might just win a home game on that pitch - only jokeing.

I do miss the BUFC chatter. Not being able to attend games or be around the fans, this is but one of a couple of connections. Been following since August, does the forum go into hibernation in the off season? What all goes on at BUFC in the off season? From the sound of the shape of the pitch, grounds and management, there should be a lot of activity getting ready for next season.

Never been a billiard table - money is so tight and is used for player budget unless imperative repair work

Is there ever a time that the pitch gets a rest? Money is tight everywhere. Are there local landscapers/farmers that might be willing to donate equipment, materials or labor? Fundraisers? I guess most of my comments are mute until there is a clear picture on who is running this show.
