yesterday was a complete disaster keeper was somewhere else for two of the goals although almost got to the discracefull penalty kick defence was all over the place kynan was scared to fall over incase the chips on his shoulder came off and to sub nabil was an awefull decision unless he was injured if they knew what some people including myself was doing at 9-00 am to get the game on they should have at least looked interested apart from about 4 players who tried their socks off maybe its time for Edwin tostep down and let let John Taylor take the lead I`m sure if that happend then play offs would still be on Any Thoughts ?

yesterday was a disgrace also the keeper was injuried from the start. As for the play offs this year yes this would be great if we knew what the future holds for banbury but we dont. No one knows who will be in charge or who will own the club etc so i think we cant get the play offs knowing this.Im sure ppl would like to know why jed was not there yesterday?as i thought he said at meeting he will still be at all home games.Does anyone know if he was at swindon?

Appreciate what some of you are saying, and understand your disapointment over certain things. But just to clear a couple of things up Warren Carter (goalkeeper) missed Tuesday with a bruised elbow nothing serious but was thought best to rest it, he got this injury in his first game for us away at Chippenham and played the other games up to then keeping clean sheets so no he wasnt injured from the start as it wasnt going to effect how he played. Im sure most would agree up untill Saturday he has been one of the best if not the best keeper we have had this season( mind you not seen them all). As for Nabil he took a knock in the first half and it was causing him a bit of a problem as the game went on so was best for the player to come off to have a chance of playing Monday (if on). As for other comments on managers coaches etc I cannot comment on that but since I have been here have been impressed with there proffesional attitude to things. You the supporters play a big part in the club and that goes for any club , if we didnt have opinions football would be a very boring game. Personally think youare great fans and always get behind the team so lets not lose the faith keeptrying to encourage them (i know difficult sometimes but thats football). Still 2 cups to play for and a top 10 finish and the way this league is going still could sneak in play offsalways possible till mathamatically impossible. Keep the faithand hopefully see some of you Monday. Malc

I see Jed's post has been deleted !! didnt it mention him leaving ? Anyway i support Banbury Utd not who runs it !
Alot of moaning after this game and rightly so, silly penalty to give away, poor defending at 2 corners and a wonder goal. Apart from that ive seen the last few games home and away and the team was heading in the right direction we have looked organised and hard to beat so i would like to think this game was just a one off. We miss Allen at the back who was outstanding at Chippenham. Keeper has been fantastic until Saturday so we need to keep the faith there. The team needs Lait and Hopkins playing as much as possible running at defences and causing problems. Issac can be outstanding but is a luxury player who needs to work harder for the team and look interested every week. Skendi and Bridges both struggled on the heavy pitch but have been very good recently and seem to work well together. The team is one strapping central defender away from being a decent team at this level. If we had started the season with this team we would be close to the play offs if not in them.
The frustration is we could be back to square one at the end of the season or worse and that will be massively disappointing !!!

What is with everyone on here moaning about the players especially people going on about the keeper! What could he have done about the goals! He was unlucky with the penalty which he got a hand to! Easy way out to look at the goalkeeper when a match turns out like that.

agree with whiskey with reference to lait and hopkins, they make things happen! will always be a puritan no matter what but if i'm paying £9 it would be great to see a effort from all 11 players.

Easy way out to look at the goalkeeper when a match turns out like that. I have to agree. Keeper has a bad game and everyone jumps on his back. That is why we have had 11 keepers this season. Some have been good some awful but each deserved a chance to gel with the ever changing defence. An outfield player has a bad game and its soon forgotten about. A keeper has a bad game and the axe comes down. Performance from keeper wasn't great but there is no need for all of the negativity. Hope he pulls on the shirt next game

He is a tremendous G/K who has had three clean sheets before Saturday. As long as he hasn't read this forum I would think he will be back , he deserves support as no-one mentioned his clean sheets and how well he played in them.

Gosport haven't lost in the League since 3rd Nov, '12 Last Tuesday they won at Barwell who yesterday won 6-0 away to league leaders Leamington It seems that the above count for nothing, Banbury don't have a divine right to win every game but they are sat in 13th place 14 points above the relegation zone I can fully appreciate fans' concerns at watching seemingly changing personnel every week but I thought you'd all appreciate that this is a season of change because we're told that the Club had to chang€ Chill pill's folks, keep supporting the Club Didier - Have you had a smiley face overload?! It's just the hope that kills you. I was euphoric after the Chippenham game. I know the forum sometimes can seem a bit negative but it is about opinions and this is just the 21st century way of moaning in the pub with your friends. I think there are a lot of people who are happy with the progress but frustrated by the consistency. Even though you tell yourself to be realistic, it just gets to you because you only need a glimmer for optimism to be running wild.

Exactly my thoughts - think being at Swindon told everyone a story. Real concerns that Banbury United is stopping post on way to something far bigger and come decision time (which will happen as just not allowed to run two clubs) the club be running out of oars!!! I don't see anyone nailing their futures to red n gold at board level more a case of we had a bit of fun and life moves on - pls prove me wrong.

That's the vote of confidence I'm sure every player at this club dreads!!!!! No doubt another keeper is already being scouted ( but not by ES) Lets hope not
