They probably had the best of the first half. From the other end looked like they had scored early on but the ball hit the post and rolled along the goal-line back to Joe. Our goal came when Adam got a powerful header in at the far post and their player couldn't direct it anywhere but into his net. I think it was Stone tracking back who gave away a soft penalty.
We created a lot more chances in the second half. Twice crosses/shots were inches away from either going straight in or just missed by a Banbury player. Both Taylor and Macdonald had clear chances in the centre of the penalty area about six yards out but couldn't finish and their CB pulled off a very well timed tackle when Stone was through.
A well deserved point - could easily have been three.
Thin bench again - anyone news on Oulton and Cray - have they left?

Well, looking at the highlights we could have come back with all three points quite easily, rode our luck a bit again, but it is frustrating that we can put in the performances and challenge anybody, lets hope for more of the same on Saturday.

I think it was Stone tracking back who gave away a soft penalty. Straight out of the Ollie Stanbridge album of penalty area tackles...
