Not quite. I'd fully understand if that proposal was vetoed by BUFC fans.

That it has been proposed is progress.

The club are right to offer Hereford a further 400 tickets but most definitely WRONG in giving them the town end

From the website article and the e-mail to members: "Note – we have evaluated and ruled out hosting away fans in the Sutton End for logistical and safety reasons."
No further explanation given.

Can only assume after the last time when the away fans were allowed to leave first it will be easier to control the crowd leaving from the town end much as they did with us by holding us back which at the time was a classic own goal.

Quite. So why not stick us up the away end, keep us in for a bit after the final whistle and allow the home fans to safely disperse before letting us out? 10 - 20 minutes? I can't see that that'd cause a massive problem from our point of view. Most Hereford fans will just hop back on the coaches and be away anyway; train folk may be slightly inconvenienced, as will those who have driven, but overall it'd be a safer and less antagonistic resolution. When does your membership vote end, by the way?

When does your membership vote end, by the way? Midnight last night (Wed 13th). Probably to be discussed at a board meeting tonight.

Common sense prevailed. Take the much needed cash.

Whether or not Hereford take up their full allocation, theirs will be the biggest travelling support seen at Banbury since the FA Cup First Round tie against Northampton in 1973 and the Third Round (last 16) of the FA Trophy against Hereford United in 1971. The latter was estimated at 1,500 of the 4,322. It's anybody's guess as to how many NT supporters were amongst the 4,740 there that day but at least 1,000 would be a reasonable assumption.
