All getting a bit tight at the bottom end but at least today’s results haven’t pushed us any further down, games in hand are vitally important even more now.

Putting your journo's hat on and getting a bit carried away, you could say all but the first are six-pointers. Peterborough keep digging out a win or two just when they look to be on the slide. With 44 points they're very close to safety so perhaps they'll be a bit too relaxed for their own good on Tuesday. Darlington have a bit of wind in their sails after two wins, coming from behind today to beat Buxton, also on 44 points. Rushall and Southport are now well and truly in it.

A minimum of 6 points needed from those, given that Boston, Curzon, Scunthorpe and Hereford follow...

The flood protection scheme is not designed to protect Banbury but Oxford. After the 2007 flood in Oxford it was immediately announced that Banbury would have a controlled area to stop the water swamping the Oxford flood plains. Since then Oxford has only flooded once in 2014 and this was described as a 1 in 20 year event, so the scheme works as planned. No consideration given by the CC to anyone outside Oxford
