Oh well, down to earth with a bit of a bump, disappointing to concede four but on to the Trophy Saturday.

Would've been better to beat Hereford tonight instead of Tamworth last weekend but hey ho !
Not too much harm done league table wise looking at the other results tonight ;
Bishop's Stortford 1-2 Tamworth
Brackley Mon€y 2-0 Gloucester City
Chorley 8 (Eight)-0 Darlington
Curzon Ashton 3-1 Blyth Spartans
King's Lynn Town 3-1 Scunthorpe United
Peterborough Sports 0-2 Boston United
Rushall Olympic 1-1 Alfreton Town
Southport 1-1 Farsley Celtic
Spennymoor Town 2-5 South Shields

To be honest we have received a battering 3 games running. 3 hard games in 8 days was a bit too much.
3 more games in 8 days coming up. Hope we can bounce back
What an absolutely outstanding keeper Jack is. No exaggeration to say we could have conceded another 10/12 without him

From the Hereford forum:
"That was great value – Banbury were no mugs but completely outplayed."
"....the second half was the best attacking display in a long time. Should have been at least 5, 6 would have probably been fairer. A good standard of football that, they weren't rubbish. A game played at a good pace."
However:
"Banbury stood off us and did not close down as other teams have. Gave us room to move the ball about..."
There appears to be a feeling there that they're turning things around there. Meanwhile, the man they were glad to see the back of, Josh Gowling (manager last season when Banbury did the double over them), is in charge at Darlington...
And King's Lynn weren't supposed to win again.

Banbury played well last night in spite of the result. You have a decent side who play decent football with none of the shithousery employed by many of the other teams in this league. In spite of the result, it was a good and competitive game to watch with both teams trying to play good football. None of the nonsense we generally have to suffer.
Fair play to the travelling supporters in the Len Weston. All the best for the remainder of the season (except for Good Friday).

For me the Banbury’s passing of the ball is not good enough and possession is often given away as a result.
Ken Charles is simply not good enough at this level. Other than the penalty would not have known he was on the pitch.
I’d like to see two start up front from the start.
I did not think Hereford were any better than us other than their ability to pass the ball successfully!
