Members will have received an e-mail about this but there's no reason why non-members shouldn't attend. It's been called to verify the position of the two new members of the board but:
"...In addition we will discuss and agree a process for supporters' representation with the Board and there will be an update on the club including the ground as well as an opportunity for questions and answers.
We look forward to seeing members at the meeting."

One very concerning thing that came out of the meeting was the ground situation. The owners of the present ground have given us a lease for two more years. They have stated that is it, no more extensions, which is fair enough, they are developers and they purchased the site for development. The big question has to be, what are we doing about the situation? If we have only got two years then surely the plans for the new ground should already be in the hands of the local authority in order to get planning permission? I believe as it stands no plans have been drawn up or submitted for planning. These things take a very long time, the authorities are well known for dragging their heels in such matters. Then a new ground has got to be built. Once again this is not something that will be a quick process. So where does that leave us ? We will be looking to ground share, but where? It would have to be Leamington or maybe Rugby. Oxford City is out due to geographical restrictions. Easington and Ardley are not up to standard. I'm sure none of us would support a ground share at Brackley!! Things are getting tight, time is not on our side. It will be very interesting to see what happens next. Something needs to happen and quickly.

No way a new ground / infrastructure can be built within 24 months so wouldn't be surprised if we stay for more than 2 years.

Easy answer to that, he left and from what I can gather was another one who talked the talk but didn’t deliver.Seems to be the problem as I have said before, a lot of good people have walked away but nobody seems to want to know why and given the rise in the club’s profile you will always attract hangers on who come and go.
