Earlier in the season there was a thread that stated the aim was for regular crowds of 800 plus at our home games. This on many occasions has been exceeded by the home fans alone. To have an allocation of only 500 for the Brackley game on Boxing Day is really poor. My thoughts are with the 300 plus fans not allowed to go. Comments welcome!

Unless I misread original message - the 500 ticket allocation is for the away match?

The point is that of the 800 regular home supporters, there will be many that want to go to the away game and can't get a ticket.

Are the restrictions too Draconian.?
Both clubs plus Plod are being very cautious.
As mentioned above not much point in having a Derby if dozens/hundreds can't go.
I am now seriously considering boycotting the game and not giving my money to a moneybags

I was really looking forward to the two games over the festive period. Been a member for years but didn’t renew this year as I knew I would only see a handful of games due to change of circumstances. In September I had better places to spend my membership cost but would come along when I could especially the festive games with no meaningful derby game in years and not clashing with local senior football.
Not now, totally ruined my festive schedule. Law abiding fans being impacted but a number of idiots of last 2 seasons and a spineless board who have done nothing that I can see to eradicate.
Not 100% if I will be back after decisions of the 6 on the board that I have seen since promotion.

Decisions re ticket allocations are made by the Police and not the Club/s. Very rarely will the Police change their minds
I'd say very comfortably that this is NOT the Club's fault at all and any blame apportioned on them by fans is misguided.

It would be a joint decision, but Brackley would be more than happy to limit Banbury’s presence on Boxing Day

Joint decision or not, we have not been allocated enough tickets. How would they cope with Notts County, Southend, Wrexham etc etc.

This is no doubt a result of the brain dead few who have given us all the wrong headlines, the whole situation has probably been taken out of the club's hands.

Question- if there hadn’t been any off field problems this season how many tickets do you think Brackley would of given us

Brackleys average attendance this season is 650 there is no way Banbury we’re ever going to get more than 500 tickets. I’m amazed we have been given 500

So I'm a BUFC member, but because I didn't become one on line, I now have to que up on a Thursday evening down at the ground in order to purchase a ticket. I'm on the wrong shift in order to do this. When will this board realise that a fan owned club is only as good as the fans themselves, absolutely ridiculous. Sort yourselves out, about as organised as the AGM, where nobody was allowed to ask questions.
