FA Cup against Stratford now rearranged for Tues 20th on advice of Police and local authority, guessing this is a consequence of recent events causing a shortage of available Police Officers as most will be in London.

No information yet on what cashless means...
If the game is drawn then presumably the following Tuesday's league game at home to Gloucester will be postponed for the replay.

Plenty of football on Saturday and they can’t find enough old bill to stage little old Banbury and Stratford, poor show as is this cashless bollocks

You have to ask what are Stratford expecting given the game is segregated, it’s never happened over there before, granted the following has grown, perhaps we are developing an unwanted reputation of is it just down to sheer weight of numbers attending.

Being Tuesday, Banbury fans will have to drive. If fans go in numbers, I am not sure there is anywhere near enough parking

It's Stratford v Banbury, hardly Millwall v West Ham is it ? What on earth are they expecting?

Hundreds of games going ahead all over the country.
Let's be crystal clear here, Banbury United are being unfairly victimised

Only takes the actions of a handful of mindless morons to foster a bad reputation and social media and rumour is largely to blame. But as Geoff had said this is out and out victimisation based on the fallout from the Hereford game.

And will they allow enough space for Banbury supporters. I have concerns that they won’t and plenty of space for the home fans. They need to be fair to visitors.
Loud and proud is required not stupidity seen at a small number of away days!
Not sure how many fit or available defenders on the day, see you in The Crown (if open) pre match, less money in the pocket of the tarmac layer Chairman of STFC

What narks me most is the lack of detail in the reasoning, how do you expect fans to be sympathetic? It just creates more resentment. Authorities and decision-makers are behaving like snowflakes. The majority of games at this level are policed by stewards and private security.

The only Football League clubs in action that evening are playing in the 'Little League Cup' (Papa John's Trophy).
Plenty of big-club supporters will have an opportunity to make a nuisance of themselves, as some did when Hereford first visited Banbury in October 2017. Indeed, the problems that the authorities imagine that Banbury 'supporters' might have caused tomorrow could well be multiplied many times on Tuesday.*
EDIT: * As suggested by Geoff elsewhere.

Some are suggesting it is the Queen's funeral and resultant lack of police resources that has caused this. If so why has neither club said this, I would have no problem if that was the stated case.
But with every other FA Cup game going ahead this weekend and just our game delayed until Tuesday........

This is now a ridiculous situation. Other ties going ahead tomorrow without any problem. It is very obvious that on Tuesday night plenty of unsavoury characters from other clubs are going to turn up looking for trouble. If the game was played as planned tomorrow the idiots would be at their own games, but now they have got an open invitation to come and cause trouble on Tuesday. I strongly feel that Ronnie should make a statement explaining just how this ludicrous decision came about. Was it really the police,or was it just Stratford being spiteful? If it was the latter then someone needs to explain why our club agreed to it.

Wouldn’t put anything past their illustrious Chairman but I think it would have been a bigger attendance on a Saturday afternoon, hopefully we will get a definitive reason why it was cancelled and moved, as has been said every other game is taking place.
