Steve I think your getting abit carried away with concern. Facts are it will be heated. Can’t hide away from that, it’s an important cup tie in which given the circumstances will have a lot of emotion attached to it, and as yogi said as long as nobody over steps the mark then it’s all part and parcel of football Perceptions, Liam.
We know what you mean (well, we hope we do!) but how does it look from the outside? Careless remarks attract the wrong sort.

Quote from Farnborough forum - We dodged a bullet there. First time ever an official decision has gone for us?

do you think there could be violence at this game then? honestly i doubt it due to the fact that the only real reason hereford had it was due to numbers what are they likely to bring to the spencer

Appreciate that you can take certain comments in the wrong way, especially when they are in writing rather than spoken.
You’d like to think that the good people of farnborough would realise that the comments from everyone on this forum are all light hearted and there’s no harm intended, and you’d certainly expect that come match day People will not let there emotions get the better of them.
The beauty of non league football is that you can have a laugh and wind up with the opposition and come 5pm often shake hands and wish each other well.

There is gonna be no violence at all. Banter will be exchanged from both sets of supporters but hopefully we will have the last laugh on the pitch. Hopefully they’ll be a big Banbury turn out Saturday to get behind the lads and Fordy.
UNITED.

Farnbourgh saw what the hardcore fans who travelled to their place was like, we was just all very vocal with banter. When have we ever been classed as violent, that’s just garbage!
As for empty bottle jokes, that was a young lad who clearly doesn’t like football as he hasn’t been seen since. (Mummy probably brought him a Xbox)
Just hope they don’t bring their empty seats, especially on the players coach or cars. (Banter intended) Don’ think they get away support anyway as they struggle for home support. (Banter intended)

The FA's decision is poor but not totally unexpected. I'm sure Mike Ford will get the boys focused on the task at hand. Let's go out and win the game!

Reading the FA statement on the website will that mean that Ravi can't play Saturday due to him being suspended when the original tie should of taken place?

Reading the FA statement on the website will that mean that Ravi can't play Saturday due to him being suspended when the original tie should of taken place? According to the website, That rule only applies to players signed after the date of the original tie, players suspended at the time may play as long as they have served their suspenion.

As I read it,Ravi is eligible to play with the postponed game counting as one of the three match ban.

The Shots were on the verge of being wound up in August 1990 when a 19-year-old property tycoon by the name of Spencer Trethewy paid £200,000 to save the club.
What the Hampshire clubs board hadn't realised was that Trethewy didn't have the money and dismissed him three months later.
The Shots limped on for two more years before finally succumbing in 1992, resigning from the football league in March.
Happily, Aldershot reformed and were back in the football league by 2008 having come through from the Combined Counties League and now play in the Skrill Premier after relegation last season.
Tretheway was sent to prison for two years in 1994 for fraud, and bizarrely reemerged in 2008 as manager of non-league Chertsey Town under the name 'Spencer Day'.
He is currently manager at Farnborough FC..

As I read it,Ravi is eligible to play with the postponed game counting as one of the three match ban. I think the st Neots game counted as his final match ban. So his 3 games were: kings lynn (h) farnborough Trophy (a) st Neots (h) The original replay would of indeed been the last game of his 3 match ban, instead it was st Neots. So he can now play

Well done the Club for publishing the FA letter on the official site...it's good to note re the financial aspect. Curious. Farnborough are not guilty because of circumstances but have effectively been fined, perhaps about £1,500 if we assume an attendance of around 300, and the fine is received by Banbury, not the FA.

Maybe the costs for the postponed game could be taken before splitting the profits. Re the comments, I support Banbury and mistook the remarks that their could be trouble, if that’s the case many like me will stay away, we should do our talking on the pitch not act like morone
