That's rubbish didier, the world and his cat(or all last years squad) know the budget is in danger of being slashed.Players can see no investment and no wage increases next season so have acted accordingly. 'IF' that is the case that the world and his cat apparently/allegedly know that then why has petet posed his question ? The only ones who know are those in charge and it is totally correct that the strictest confidentiality has to be maintained by football clubs. Just my opinion

I said that supporters would be interested to hear any news on comings and goings. I don't think that is asking too much. We are all fully aware that the committee are working very hard to raise funds. The supporters club are also doing their best to raise some extra money for the club. We all fully support Billy and Kenny, they have done a great job since they joined us. The supporters understand all of this. But why is it so difficult to get any news out of the club ? Several of our better players have gone, things are very worrying. No sponsor, lack of players from last season, no news on the patron scheme, surely we are entitled to ask a few questions ? This is not a personal attack on anyone, its just a supporter with genuine concerns. Didier, please do not try and spin my words into some sort of attack on the board. It is in fact far from that.

The AGM is only a couple of weeks away and I hope everyone will attend and ask questions, we will answer them to the best of our ability.

Didier, please do not try and spin my words into some sort of attack on the board. It is in fact far from that. Apologies petet for highlighting a question on your post as a response tool, no offence was intended personally at all. I just get a bit bemused when a football club is sort of criticised/questioned when all they are doing is conducting their business in a professional manner, being respectful to other clubs, respecting confidentalities and hopefully getting the job done. I personally do not agree with clubs/managers who are always telling the fans that they are in the market for this player or that player. I also do not like the leaking of info that whether by happenstance or design unsettles players that are contracted to other clubs. It's not respectful to either their current club nor to the player. The problem is that it looks to some like Banbury are doing nothing and the Club are taking a bit of a battering on this forum and that, in my opinion is unfair.

Totally agree Didier, the Internet is a wonderful thing but it does have the habit of sticking it's nose in when not required, for example and call me an old F*** if you like, Facebook,to me one of the most invasive sites on the Web. I understand the frustrations when all we are hearing about is players leaving but whoever is coming in might just as well turn out to be better than those who have gone elsewhere. By all means have a pop at the club but wait and see what transpires at the start of the proper season by which I mean the first league game.
