Read the forum today and suggest that fans wait for Jed to make a statement. Spoke to Jed and was told he is not leaving. But accordig to FA source forms were filled in wrong and Paul Jones is still named as Chairman. Well done Nigel. I started the legal transfer of the shares with the help of Brethertons from the previous named people to Jed but the deal and contracts were completed by other members of the board.

If Jed is to have an input what we don't want is a swindon town feeder policy. The biggest turn off this year has been the continuous turn over of players, some of them amongst the worse to pull on a Puritan shirt, let's (whoevers in charge) get back to a squad of 16/ 20 players and build the support which has so obviously been missing this season. Too right, might find some of the missing crowd start to return, we all want players we see week in week out who actually aknowledge the fan support, (also previous managers have had some interaction with fans at away games, a few words go a long way) people miss a couple of weeks and dont bother as they know they wont recognise most of the team. I think this especially puts off younger fans.

So does this mean Nigel Porter will be back pulling the strings again ? Will he walk away from Oxford City again?

So does this mean Nigel Porter will be back pulling the strings again ? Will he walk away from Oxford City again? Would be wise to ask if Nigel has anything to do with Oxford City at this time. I stand corrected but I don't believe he does and for what it's worth he has done more for the club behind the scenes than some people realise over the past few years.

I am not on any football club committee at this time. I have volunteered my services to City where I have been helping out where I can. I am enjoying the Freedom !!! If I can give any help or advice (don't ask for money) please contact me.
